TEMU Turkey: New Regulations for Seller Compliance and Block Prevention

As TEMU 's supervision of the Turkish market is upgraded, sellers need to pay close attention to the new "Turkish agent" regulations and the platform's risk control policies. This article combines the platform's latest announcements with sellers' practical experience to sort out the key points of compliance operations and risk avoidance strategies to help you operate steadily in the Turkish market.

1. Key points of Turkey’s new regulations on “Turkish representatives”

1. Scope of application

Mandatory objects: All Chinese sellers who sell goods to Türkiye, regardless of the product category (home, beauty, clothing, etc. must register).

Special categories: Plastics, wood, and steel products may face additional tariffs, and require extra attention to requirements such as CE certification and test reports.

2. Compliance operation procedures

(1) Registration of local representative:

Select a compliant agent in Türkiye (such as an importer or fulfillment service provider), sign an authorization agreement and submit it to the platform for review.

The backend declaration must be consistent with the physical label (including manufacturer, identification code, and safety warnings).

(2) Tag Management:

Non-compliant products must sign the "Warehouse Labeling Agreement" and the TEMU warehouse will affix the Turkish labels on their behalf.

The label must include the name, address, CE mark (if applicable), and a real photo must be uploaded for verification.

3. Timeline and risks

(1) Key Dates:

Starting from April 1, 2025 , products that are not registered with the Turkish agent will be removed from the Turkish site.

After March 30 , all non-compliant inventory will be cleared out.

(2) Consequences of Violation:

Products were removed from shelves, logistics and customs clearance were hindered, and store traffic weight decreased.

The platform may impose a fine on the order amount, and the product may face the risk of return or seizure.

2. TEMU Account Anti-Ban Strategy

1. Logistics compliance red line

Prohibited behavior: Use false logistics information such as water-traceable bills and technology bills . The first violation will result in the removal of the entire store and a 15- day cooling-off period. The second violation will terminate the cooperation.

Key points for appeal: Provide authentic logistics proof (official website receipt screenshot, delivery certificate), and submit through the backend "Package Receipt Appeal" function.

2. After-sales and penalty management

(1) After-sales rules:

To avoid triggering 5 times compensation due to "size mismatch" or "quality issues" , you need to ensure that the product description is consistent with the actual product.

Process returns and refunds promptly to avoid a decrease in store weight due to delayed response.

(2) Penalty avoidance:

Pay attention to the "quality score" scoring standard ( no penalty for scores above 90 points) and optimize the product quality inspection process.

Regularly check the freezing status of post-sales reserve funds to avoid a break in the capital chain.

3. Account security and multi-store management

(1) IP isolation: In addition to device and registration information isolation, IP is also an important factor in store detection association. You can use a dedicated static residential proxy IP (such as obtained from service provider IPFoxy ) to bind an independent account and assign an independent IP address to each store to prevent repeated IP from triggering the platform association blocking mechanism and thus avoid store bans.

(2) Semi-custodial compliance:

Shipping from virtual warehouses is prohibited. Choose TEMU certified overseas warehouses to ensure the authenticity of the logistics track.

Sign the "Letter of Commitment" to guarantee that you will no longer violate cross-border shipment regulations. Please note that you only have one chance to unblock the goods.

3. Long-term compliance recommendations

1. Supply Chain Optimization

Priority is given to cooperating with local Turkish manufacturers who have bound themselves to Turkish agents to reduce customs clearance risks.

Use TEMU API to synchronize order and label information to reduce manual operation errors.

2. Tools and resource integration

IP management: Obtain a Turkish static residential IP through the IPFoxy proxy service provider to simulate a localized operating environment.

Data monitoring: Connect to Yandex to analyze user behavior and eliminate inefficient ads with CPA > 500 rubles.

The Turkish market has become a strategic location for TEMU , but under the dual pressure of tightened policies and platform risk control, sellers need to build a moat based on compliance, combined with IP management, logistics optimization and refined after-sales operations. The above is the new regulations and anti-blocking guide for Turkish sellers. Thank you for watching. All cross-border players are welcome to share and discuss in the comment area.
