Many people who have gone overseas may have seen the words "Your video is being processed" or "Couldn't upload video" during TikTok operations. Not only may it be stuck at this stage, but it may also fail to upload in the end. If you also encounter this problem, you can refer to the content of this article to find out the cause!
Ⅰ. Possible reasons for upload failure
1. Network issues
If the network connectivity and stability used by the user are not high enough, it may not only lead to slow upload speeds, but may also cause upload interruptions or be stuck in the processing stage for a long time.
2. Server issues
TikTok's huge number of active users will inevitably lead to busy times on the server. When a large number of users are using TikTok or uploading videos at the same time, it is easy for them to fail to upload successfully in one go.
3. Too many or too large videos
The distribution processes of different video platforms vary, but most platforms will process and convert indicators such as resolution and bit rate during video upload. If the video file is large, it may take longer to process.
In addition, some users have reported that if too many videos are uploaded within a certain period of time (for example, more than 20), it may also result in the inability to upload new videos within a short period of time.
4. Cache and Versioning
There are too many temporary files in the application cache and the application version is too low, which may cause some existing problems that have not been fixed. Both of these problems may cause uploads to be blocked.
5. Account abnormality
If uploading fails repeatedly, it may be because the account has actually been restricted or banned. Such an account will be marked by the platform, and not only will uploading videos be blocked, but the spread of successfully sent videos may also be restricted.
6. Content Violations
If the video content violates TikTok's community policy regulations, it may also lead to the final upload failure. Even if the final attempt is successful, the video will be restricted or locked.
Ⅱ. Solution
1. Clear cache and update version
These two methods can clear possible problems in temporary files and various minor bugs in the application. You can clear the cache from this path: Profile - Menu - Settings and privacy - Free up space - Cache - Clear.
2. Reboot
Aborting the upload process, restarting the app or the device you are using, or uninstalling the app and reinstalling it can also solve most problems.
3. Disable extensions
If you use some extensions while using TikTok in your browser, this may interfere with the upload process. You can find "Manage extensions" in the upper right corner of the browser you are using and turn them off.
4. Check account status
Check the From TikTok or Activities messages in your Inbox. If your account status is abnormal, you will generally receive an official notification.
You can also check the data of your recent videos. If it is significantly lower than the historical level, or no content appears on the For you interface, your account may be restricted. You can check out the content I wrote before about TikTok account management.
5. Check the network
TikTok has very high requirements for the network environment. If the network connectivity, anonymity and purity are not up to standard, the speed is slow, the target country and region cannot be located correctly, or the IP blacklist of the platform is overlapped or associated, it is easy to encounter obstacles in use. Therefore, it is best to equip the account with a more reliable IP. For example, the IP exclusive IP I use by IPFoxy performs very well in these indicators and has not had any problems so far.
Ⅲ. Final Thoughts
There may be many reasons for the obstruction of TikTok video uploading. Actively checking and using stable network tools can basically solve the problem!
